I want to nominate Heather for the ripple maker award. She is not here very often, but every time she is she makes an effort to not only help the staff with anything but makes the patients' lives better while they are here. We have a patient waiting for a bed due to some psychiatric issues. He is delusional l at times and being stuck in the ER room I have no doubt makes that worse. She not only gave him special treats of ice cream today but went out of her way to take him outside in a wheelchair and walk him around the facility. During this walk he talked about his plane rides and even recognized Walmart. She is an amazing person inside and out.
