Outstanding Preceptor Award

On May 17th, the Nursing Center of Excellence presented the Outstanding Preceptor Award to Peyton Smith, RN from 10MPCU. Leaders from the Nursing Center of Excellence presented her with the award alongside her team members and nursing leaders. Her nomination read, “Peyton is a professional, caring, empathetic RN. She goes above and beyond for every patient and peer. If patient does not know the answer she will find out for you. Petyon follows through with any and all questions, requests, and tasks in a timely, concise matter. Peyton was my orientation preceptor and she was absolutely fabulous to work with. She was thorough and precise in teaching Carilions values, goals, and policies. She knows how to manage her time very well. Peyton is respectful, diligent, and an amazing professional nurse.
