NRV Hospice Continues to Honor Veterans

Carilion Clinic Hospice of the New River Valley has achieved level 5 distinction in the We Honor Veterans program again this year. Our location was the FIRST hospice to achieve this level in the state of Virginia and we have maintained that level since it became a level and requirement. I can not verbalize how much commitment, service, hard work, and dedication goes into this work every 12 months. Treasa Rigney leads this effort with passion and without her focus, we may lose some ground. The work of others, including our staff and wonderful volunteers does not go unnoticed either. This work is NOT a requirement for our hospice to service in our community, it is a desire and a form of gratitude that our team wants to “pay it forward” and recognize the service and sacrifice made for me and you, each year. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!  We Honor Veterans Level 5 , 2022!!!
