Nancy Howell Agee honored with Cabell Brand Hope Award from TAP

Carilion President and CEO Nancy Howell Agee was honored on Tuesday with the 2021 Cabell Brand Hope Award from Roanoke-based nonprofit Total Action for Progress (TAP). She was recognized for her leadership, service, commitment and contributions to health care.

In her remarks, Nancy said she accepted the award on behalf of all of Carilion's employees who have worked tirelessly in the last two years amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“To have something so inspirational and lovely as this award brought me to tears, meant the world to me... Not for me personally, but for Carilion and what we represent, the hope and healing we offer this region,” said Nancy.
