McKenzie’s Observation Skills

A patient came to ED by EMS for a possible overdose. McKenzie was preparing to perform an EKG and pulled down his socks to place the leads, upon doing so she found a small bag containing brown powdered substance. She called Carilion Police to have this confiscated.  McKenzie’s observation skills allowed her to find this substance and have it removed from the ED.
