March of Dimes Nurse of the Year!

It is both an honor and pleasure to share that our very own Cindy Hodges was the 2018 Recipient of the March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Award in the Category of Quality and Risk Management.  Each year, the March of Dimes recognizes nurses across the Commonwealth who are nominated by their peers as outstanding clinicians committed to patient care, evidence based practice, quality and patient safety.  There are 20 categories of nominations and the March of Dimes received over 200 nominations this year alone.  The competition is rigorous and Cindy was recognized for the many contributions made to quality and patient safety in the OR setting.  Congratulations, Cindy.  You make us proud!
