Kimberly McDow - Recipient of 2022 Carilion Clinic Outpatient Rehab Excellence Award in Roanoke

Kimberly McDow demonstrates Carilion values of Curiosity, Commitment, Caring, Compassion, and Courage daily in our outpatient rehabilitation services department in Roanoke. She has stepped up to the challenge of becoming certified in Lymphedema, and she has collaborated with our new Oncology Rehab program to ensure patients receive the care they need during and after cancer treatments. She has also worked to lead Journal Club at the Carilion Wellness clinic in Roanoke, and she provides feedback and assistance to her coworkers without prompting. She is always willing to see a patient at the last minute, and she does extra research outside of her work to promote her own understanding. She is currently working to become an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. Kimberly is a true asset for the department!
