Ken Hatfield- Going the Extra Mile!

An elderly patient was scheduled for a CT and needed contrast.  Her condition made it difficult for her to wait several hours after drinking the contrast to have the exam, so she was told to pick the contrast up and she could drink it at home.   Once she arrived at the hospital, the department was out of the product.  Ken took it upon himself to take the contrast to the patient’s home in West Virginia after work.  The patient and her family were very complimentary of Ken and the fact that he went above and beyond to assist the patient and minimizing her trips to the facility.
