Keeping Carilion Looking Good

Leonard Gaskins works hard to keep Carilion looking good. I have encountered him many mornings at the OBGYN Jefferson location. He always greats me with a friendly smile. I'm impressed that he cares about doing his job well. He even cleans the lower street side of the building where the office is empty and not used by staff or patients. This area is where the bus stop patrons wait, and pedestrians tend to linger, especially after hours. It has a trashcan placed there by Carilion, but there is often cigarettes and other litter against our building. Leonard empties the trashcan daily and cleans up any additional litter with a broom and dustpan. He is even picking up trash off the sidewalks by hand. Not everyone cares enough to do such a good job. I want to say WOW! and THANK YOU! to Leonard and our other EVS staff that go above and beyond daily to keep Carilion looking good.
