Join us to celebrate Jen Dunlap, Patient Access Representative, 2nd Qtr FY24 BEE winner!

Submitted by crwilliams2 on

The BEE (Being Excellent Everyday) Award recognizes support staff members who go above and beyond in their roles to deliver exceptional service and compassion. Launched at the beginning of FY24, Carilion’s outpatient/ambulatory departments present the second quarter BEE Award to Jen Dunlap, Patient Access Representative.

She was nominated by a patient who shared, “Jen was amazingly helpful and showed genuine concern and convinced me to sit in a wheelchair so I could stay close to the desk instead of the waiting room so she could keep an eye on me and asked a nurse to come check on me. She went out of her way to make sure I got the care I needed instead of writing me off to go home on time. Her actions enhanced the care I received that day."

We appreciate her commitment to our patients and our Carilion values. Congrats, Jen!
