ION & CRMH Collect 154,928 tabs for the Ronald McDonald House!

Staff, patients, and visitors at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital (CRMH) and The Institute for Orthopaedics and Neurosciences (ION) have collected a total of 136.5 pounds of soda can tabs for recycling. 

• CRMH - 56.2 pounds 
• ION - 80.3 pounds 

These tabs are donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Southwest Virginia to recycle, and the funds generated are used to fund the operations of the house. You can learn more about the Ronald McDonald house here: https://www.rmhc-swva.org/

Since we began this program at Carilion Clinic in 2019, we have donated 1,364 pounds of tabs, which equals 1,548,140 tabs!
