I want to recognize, Aine Cattigan and Dr. Zachary Holcomb, two outstanding members of the Carilion team who went above and beyond for a single patient. They spent many hours reviewing data and infusion protocols, collaborating with colleagues, and carefully building a complex infusion plan tailored to this patient’s unique needs. This patient has been suffering from a unique condition, and before the work of Aine and Dr. Holcomb, this treatment was not offered in Southwest Virginia.
