INCREDIBLE PRECEPTOR!

Paula Layman re-joined Connect this Spring after a brief hiatus. Since returning to Connect, Paula has served as our departmental preceptor. This summer she has successfully trained six new assessment specialists. In addition to leading our departmental training program, Paula has been instrumental in codifying our policies and procedures. Paula has made a massive positive impact since re-joining Connect. She is a skilled clinician and a gifted educator. As a relatively new leader here at Carilion, I am very thankful that Paula is always available to provide counsel. I respect and appreciate her opinions. Our hospital system and the community that we serve are better off thanks to the incredible work that Paula does.
