I appreciate Lisa Dishner's leadership and Courage
On this Employee Appreciation Day, I wanted to express my appreciation for Lisa Dishner. I have worked with Lisa in helping document recovery strategies and downtime procedures as part of the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for the Behavioral Health departments. And particularly over the past year, I have observed Lisa exhibiting extraordinary Courage in leadership by stepping up whenever there is a disruption or crisis event.
She never hesitates to accept the responsibility, whether it's a live event (of which there have been more than a few), or an exercise designed to train everyone in response and recovery measures. Serving in any capacity to lead a team, or as Incident Commander during activation of Emergency Operations Plans, can be daunting and feel overwhelming quickly. Lisa has the Courage to lead calmly and effectively in crisis mode, and that's a rare quality. Please join me in showing appreciation for her leadership, and remember the paraphrased quote: "Under stress, we don't rise to the level of our expectations, we fail to the level of our training." Her Courage and her Commitment to training ensures the success of not only her department, but everyone contributing to recovery during these challenging disruptions. Kudos, Lisa!
