"Here for the people"

Brian Stewart's is one of the first faces patients and guests see when they enter Riverside 3.

As a Guest Services Representative, Brian is part greeter, part directions-giver and always a calming and friendly face eager to help patients and their loved ones when they arrive at the outpatient clinic building. Whether patients show up to have a post-surgical visit or to pick up a prescription, Brian works to make each experience a good one. Recently, a patient left glowing remarks about her encounter with Brian.

"Upon approaching the [information] desk, Brian was willing and went above assisting me," the patient wrote on a comment card. "He's definitely here for the people. Brian is a great representation for Carilion and being one of the first faces you come in contact with."

Brian joined Carilion Guest Services seven years ago and has worked at Riverside 3 for five years. "I enjoy meeting new people, getting them to their destination and seeing a smile on their face after I have helped them," he said. Thank you, Brian, for helping Guest Services meet its expectations to make patients and guests feel welcome and cared for.
