Hasan Kazmi, PharmD, recognized for book chapter contributions!

Submitted by jahoffman on

Hasan Kazmi has been recognized by the American College of Clinical Pharmacists (ACCP) for his contributions as a reviewer for a book chapter on Medication Management During PCI.  The Cardiology Self-Assessment Program (CardSAP) books provide the latest evidence-based information to individuals wishing to improve their pharmacotherapy skills and improve patient outcomes. CardSAP is designed to be a learning tool at a very high level (i.e., for the Board Certified Cardiology Pharmacist) and takes up where textbooks leave off. The information is cutting edge, drawn from only the past 3–5 years. The Board of Pharmacy Specialties has approved CardSAP as a tool for BCCP recertification by continuing education. As a CardSAP reviewer, Dr. Kazmi was charged with ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the material, gauging how well the items assess mastery of the learning objectives, and offering suggestions for improvement to the authors.

These book chapters require significant time and effort, along with a lot of critique and revisions. It is a great honor to participate and these individuals are often viewed as experts in the field.  Great job, Hasan!
