Great Catch Sarah Baxter, RN!

Vaccine safety is an identified priority when it comes to safeguarding quality and patient safety. While working at the Postal Drive Pediatric clinic, which is not her home clinic, Sarah Baxter, RN caught a vaccine error before it reached the patient by verifying the information with the CDC website and clarifying and correcting the order with the physician prior to administration. If Sarah had not caught this error, the pediatric patient would have received an invalid vaccine and would require an additional vaccine. Great catch Sarah!
