Great Catch-Dose Error, Vaccine Scanner

    Join me in congratulating Melissa Crigger, CFMH Infection Preventionist and Employee Health Nurse. Melissa has been chosen to receive the CFMH Great Catch Award for December for her attention to safety detail and employee safety during the roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccination clinics.

Congratulations Melissa!  On the first day of vaccination administration, Melissa noticed a dosing error in the vaccine scanner. This affected all Covid 19 vaccination documentation across the Carilion system as it was brought to attention and corrected!

Melissa recognized the issue and worked diligently with system co-workers to get the error corrected.
