Great Catch by CGCH Pharmacy!

While completing an ED patient's medication reconciliation, CGCH Pharmacy Student Christabel Larbi discovered a patient had been prescribed an antibiotic for 3 months. Pharmacist Amanda Terry reviewed the patient's chart, contacted the ordering physician to find that the patient should be taking the antibiotic for only 10 days!  Medication Reconciliation is very important for many reasons, this highlights just one of those reasons!  I am proud of our staff!
