What an incredible week it’s been across the region! From creative posters and hilarious skits to neon hand hygiene flair and hidden germs, our teams proved that infection prevention is both essential and exciting. The 2025 Infection Prevention Week Regional Competition showcased the best of teamwork, creativity, and commitment to patient safety — and now it’s time to announce our final results!
🏆 Tazewell Region Results
🥇 EVS Biohazard Bandits – 344 points
They absolutely dominated the competition with their energy, creativity, and spotless performance!
🥈 Registration & Police Rabies Revolters – 190 points
Their bat rabies education and PPE flair took second place with style.
🥉 Radiology Rhinoviruses – 154 points
Their respiratory prevention video had everyone giggling — and learning!

Their COVID spread skit and strong educational entries earned them the top spot!

Bright, bold, and all neon when it comes to clean hands and caring hearts.

Their “Be a Shark: Take a Bite Out of Germs” theme made a splash with creative impact!

They swept the Germ Scavenger Hunt and found the most germs to clinch first place!

Strong creativity and team spirit earned them a solid second.

Our first team on the board this week stayed steady and finished in third!
