"Encouraging at all times"

Angela Charlton, RDN, CSO is a preceptor for Dietetic Interns from Virginia Tech in oncology. She has worked as the Oncology Dietitian/Nutritionist for 16 years, all the while hosting interns for their clinical oncology orientation. Angela brings a special energy to her students as evidenced by a recent 'thank you' note written by one of her interns that says: "You were encouraging at all times, but still made sure to challenge me and help me grow as an individual, let alone grow as a dietitian. Your investment in me as an intern reassured me and made me feel empowered about my future career path."
