Education & Organizational Development Ranks 53rd
For the sixth consecutive year, Carilion’s Education and Organizational Development department has ranked amongst Training Magazine’s top training organizations. At number 53, the team received recognition for their work with system initiatives to include CAUTI reduction and Access to Care education, physician PEP education linked with our 4th Aim, and ongoing support of the Nurse Residency program. Carilion’s application also highlighted training initiatives that utilized new learning modalities/technologies and cost-saving strategies, such as virtual classrooms and experienced-user learning pathways.
Now in its 19th year, the Training Top 125 is the only awards program that ranks companies unsurpassed in harnessing human capital. The Top 125 ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including financial investment in employee training and development, the scope of training programs, how closely training and development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives, and their effectiveness in terms of business impact.
