Dr. Mariana Phillips and SPOTS

Dr. Phillips has stepped up as a Faculty Sponsor for the new SPOTS (Sun Protection Outreach Teaching by Students Home - SPOTS -) chapter at VTC this year. She spent time over a weekend to train a group of med students and later accompanied them for outreach education at a school within our community last week. SPOTS is designed to teach students from preschool through high school about the importance of early detection and prevention of skin cancer.
