Dr. Fintel and Company

My department has been collaborating with Dr. Fintel and his team to increase opportunities for holistic care for the patients in the hospital and after their discharge.  In thinking about the importance and value of our roles, we did not just have a meeting about this in an office with 4 walls, a computer, a desk, and chairs.  In regular, Dr. Fintel fashion, he took us up to meet the people we would be working for....the patients.  Wow, did that put an energetic spin on the planning. It was no longer just a program, it was a service. Thank you, Dr. Fintel, for "seeing" your patients and allowing us to participate in this very important work.  I'm inspired by and grateful for your true mission to improve health. It's hard to pick one value because this encompasses many of our values:  Collaboration, Commitment, Compassion, Courage, and Curiosity.  I am Carilion proud to work with you, Dr. Fintel, and your fabulous team.
