CRMH is celebrating our 40th Anniversary - the regions only Level 1 Trauma Center

This year marks the 40th Anniversary of CRMH's designation as a Level 1 Trauma Center! 

The adage that "It takes a village" couldn't be truer in our pursuit of providing excellent trauma care to our community.  Nearly every department, service line, and staff member has cared for a trauma patient during their journey of recovery at one time or another.

Our Level 1 logo can be seen atop the CRMH helipad, on CCPT ambulances, helicopters and in abundance on jacket sleeves warn by CRMH staff.  We are indeed Carilion (Trauma) Proud!

Thank you to ALL members of the “village” that made the past 40 years possible.  We look forward to continuing our pursuit of providing excellent trauma care for the next 40.
