Courageous act in the Emergency Dept

Carol Isom showed great knowledge today with outstanding knowledge of how Emergency Medicine is to be performed. We had a pt who was hemmorhaging with erratic vitals and noticed that the pt was decompensating and acted urgently. She went to go grab the Bellmont and advocated to blood bank to urgently send down blood STAT. She displayed very effective communitcation through multiple disiplines (ie RN and MD staff) to get the help this pt needed when she was on the brink of meeting her demise. I truely am honored to work with someone who is as knowledgable as she is and see how she has grown over the last year of her career as an RN
