Congratulations to Maimuna Jatta, MSN,RN, CIC Director Infection Prevention & Control being awarded approval for 2025 Research Acceleration Program (RAP) : Investigating the impact of use of alcohol-based hand rub (ABHR) on the bacterial bioburden on gloves used in direct patient care

 

This study will focus & assess the impact of ABHR on the bacterial bioburden on gloves used in direct patient care.

Hand hygiene is recognized as one of the most important measures that contribute to reducing patient infections and improving their outcomes.

Most recently Mai became a board member of Impact Health The Gambia, a non-profit organization focused on improving healthcare access and improving health outcomes in The Gambia.
