A round of applause for 9 South ICU winning the Platinum and 7 West on winning the Gold Sustainability Hero Awards! Sustainability Heroes are peer-nominated units of the Carilion system who champion sustainability above and beyond the call of duty. They take leadership roles in helping Carilion to advance environmental responsibility, save costs to the health system, and prioritize energy conservation and waste reduction.
