Committed EVS staff at Tazewell

If its volunteering to bring food for the local elementary school backpack program, pulling extra shifts on the weekend or nights to strip and wax the floors or vacuuming flies from the lights, our Environmental Services staff at Tazewell are living their Carilion Clinic Values of Commitment, CommUNITY and Compassion. Our Patient Experience Team has worked tirelessly to improve our survey results. We have recognized our EVS crew for their part in improving the survey results of our ‘Cleanliness of the Hospital Environment’ by over 5 percentage points from 2018 until this point in 2019 while being understaffed for some of that time. The pictured EVS staff include: Brian Bales, Manager, Ruth Endicott, Sandy Hess, Melissa Rasnake and Linda Slone. Not pictured team members are Lisa Brown, Charles Earnest and Amanda Stacy.
