CGCH Occupational Therapist's Skills are Life Changing for Patient
Robin Czar, OTR at CGCH has been working with this patient and her extensive injuries that occurred over 1 year ago. She remained extremely limited with the use of her right hand due to nerve damage. Robin's creativity, critical thinking, determination, great skills, and commitment allowed her to create this adaptation for her patient that enables her to use her right hand again. Tears of joy flowed down the patient's face as she walked through the clinic doing things she hadn't been able to do since July 2019 thanks to the hard work and compassion of Robin. She is pictured here using an apple cutter which requires the use of both hands. The patient described this moment as "life changing" and is so grateful for Robin's dedication to her recovery of function! Great work Robin!
