CGCH had 2nd Highest Patient Experience Scores for Hospital Rating Across the State!

The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA) published a quarterly newsletter showing the HCAHPS data released by CMS for the state of Virginia from October 1, 2022- September 20, 2023.  For patients who gave their hospital a rating of 9 or 10 on a scale from 0 (lowest), CGCH tied for second place in the state with the highest scores!  CGCH had an overall average of 80%, which exceeded the state average of 70%, and US average of 72%.  The national 75th percentile score was 78%.

CGCH also ranked 2nd in the state for Hospital Cleanliness and 4th for Communication with Doctors.  Congratulations to our counterparts in Tazewell for being 2nd in Care Transition Scores and 3rd for Responsiveness of Hospital Staff!
