CFMH Nurse of the Year Winner

Congratulations to Karen Kenyon from CFMH for being selected as this year's Nurse of the Year! 

With two nominations: "She goes above and beyond for her patients and coworkers. She says yes to helping almost every single time. She has a great attitude and takes great care of her patients."

"Karen is an exceptional nurse and an asset to ACS. She is a very detailed nurse who works diligently throughout the day to make sure all her patients are taken care of the fullest extent. Karen hardly ever asks for help, most often works as a primary nurse because she cares that much, always offers assistance to others even when she is playing catch up with her own work, takes pride in what she is doing, and treats the patients like family. What I admire most about Karen is her ability to come to work, get along with everyone, not get involved with the office gossip, treat all coworkers with respect, be genuine and caring to others, and keep a smile on her face. I often tease that if hospitalized here at FMH; Karen must provide 24 hr. care to me while I'm a patient. If Karen could bottle her disposition, attitude, knowledge, and kindness to distribute to others this facility and the world would be a better place."
