Celebrating 50 Years of Care in Weyers Cave

Congratulations to the Carilion Clinic Family Medicine team at Weyers Cave for their 50 year commitment to providing primary care to the community. Since opening the clinic in 1974, the clinic maintains access to well visit appointments and immunizations, acute care, lab services and virtual visit options. Former and current providers, Wayne Weaver, M.D.,  Sam Showalter, M.D., Gordon Weirich, M.D., Victor Buckwalter, M.D., Gilbert Rice, III D.O., Melissa Bland, N.P., Chris Moore, N.P., and support staff were present to greet patients and share historical memorabilia.
