Yesterday, 4/23/25, Infection Preventionists from Carilion Infection Prevention and Control department along with a student intern from Liberty University, attended Hollins University Student Health Fair. The IPs and student presented education on various topics including sexual health/STD prevention, hand hygiene, sun safety and mental health as it relates to substance abuse and infectious diseases such as Hepatitis C.

A huge shoutout to Lisa Dmochowski, Hollins University Student Health Practice Supervisor, for allowing Carilion IPC to come present and providing freezie pops on the hot day!:)
