Carilion Clinic is committed to sustainability and energy efficiency and our hard work is paying off! This year, multiple hospitals won awards from The American Society for Health Care Engineering’s (ASHE) Energy to Care program. ASHE, a part of the American Hospital Association (AHA), is the largest association dedicated to optimizing the healthcare built environment and Energy to Care is their program and dashboard focused on environmental sustainability and energy efficiency within hospitals.

Congratulations to the facilities, listed below, and thank you to the dedicated Engineering & Maintenance staff for your work in making our buildings run more efficiently! Achieving these awards is the result of many years of strategic and thoughtful work to reduce the environmental impact of our buildings, which demonstrates the commitment of these teams to our environment, community, and our patients.
