Carilion Clinic Hospice in the NRV obatins level 5 designation from the We Honor Veterans organization!

The Carilion Clinic Hospice team in the NRV, does a fantastic job in working with and for our community veterans each year. Treasa Rigney leads this works and has a passion for the veterans and for the impact this work has on those we serve. She plans and organizes ways that our team can contribute in recognizing and honoring those that have served our great land. Treasa began as our Volunteer Coordinator in 2016 and the NRV team obtained level 5 in 2017, the first year that it was offered by the We Honor Veterans (WHV) organization. Since then we have served well over 500 veterans, with most be honored in their homes with a certificate, branch of service coin and a WHV pin.

The We Honor Veterans team is pleased to inform you that you’ve met all the requirements for Level 5 renewal for Carilion Clinic Hospice New River Valley!

Please keep in mind, unlike our other levels, to maintain your level 5 certification you will have to recertify each year.
