Arlette Teran Damian earns United States Citizenship!

On Thursday, May 28th Arlette Damian officially became a US Citizen!

Along with her cousin Maria, Arlette was sworn in at a special ceremony at Red Hill, the last home and final resting place of Virginia’s first governor and one of America’s Founding Fathers, Patrick Henry. Partrick Henry’s 5th great grandson, Patrick Henry Jolly was an honored guest and speaker.

With support from Carilion and her leaders at EVS, Arlette attended citizenship weekly classes preparing for the interview and test. It was a long journey, and Arlette succeeded!
