Appreciation for our Trauma Registrars!

May 3rd, 2023, is National Trauma Registry Professionals Day

A Trauma Registrar is an individual who is tasked with abstraction, collection, and identification of pertinent trauma related data points. These include injury coding and inclusion criteria as well as making sure to identify required data for both state and national databases. This information is used by our institution and others around the country to develop protocols, criteria, and performance improvement projects. We could not complete our quality and patient initiatives without these dedicated professionals.
