Announcing August 2026 - imPACT Award Winner

Jordan was recognized today as our August 2026 imPACT award winner! His dedications to our stroke patients, quality care, and leadership are very much appreciated. 

Nomination: 

Since the opening of the Neuro PCU, Jordan has proactively ensured stroke patients receive the highest quality care possible. He consistently serves as a mentor and educator during RN interdisciplinary rounds, providing guidance on appropriate VTE prophylaxis, Yale Swallow Screen completion, and stroke patient education requirements. His attention to detail and commitment to evidence-based practice were recently demonstrated when he identified a patient who had an SLP consult ordered but also had a diet initiated prior to evaluation. Jordan promptly followed up with the bedside RN to ensure the Yale Swallow Screen was completed immediately, helping to maintain patient safety and compliance with stroke care standards. Through his vigilance and teaching, Jordan strengthens both patient outcomes and staff knowledge across the Neuro PCU.
