Alexis Leonard - Committed and Compassionate

Alexis Leonard from our Family Medicine clinic in Hillsville went above and beyond by completing the Phlebotomy course for non-clinical staff so she can step in and help when the lab is busy. Her teammates describe her as someone who’s always willing to help anyone, and Alexis shared that she simply wants to support her patients, coworkers, and community however she can. Outside of work, she’s also active in helping those in need in her community.

In recognition of her dedication and service, Carilion Chief of Staff Chris Turnbull presented Alexis with a Carilion Clinic Challenge Coin—one of only 100 awarded each year. Congratulations, Alexis!
