8 Mountain ICU cares for our patients AND our planet!

If you’ve walked alongside the Riverwalk Parking Garage at CRMH recently, you may have noticed a new bench! The bench was obtained through 8 Mountain ICU’s participation in the Trex Soft Plastics Recycling program. The unit worked together to collect 500 pounds of soft plastics (supply packaging, bed covers, etc.) that was then recycled. This bench is made of recycled material and is a great reminder of their dedication to sustainability! Engineering and Maintenance installed the bench and Carilion Design Group designed and created the plaque. Thank you for all you do for both our patients and our planet!
