7W Rocks it with excellent patient care!!!

I want to brag about 7W...

I am a PCT from the resource pool. 7W is a very heavy unit as far as the health conditions of the patients found on 7W. 7W has a lot of travel nurses, and nurses from resource pool. I had the honor of taking care of an older gentleman. He was in bad shape. I went home on a Monday morning with my thoughts racing about the man. I spent a lot of time that week wondering about him. That following weekend I came back to work on 7W again and to my surprise he was still with us. I want to explain- that there are a lot of different nurses and techs that have the honor to work on 7W. We all pull together and do what needs to be done. Seeing that man, knowing his condition the week before and having the opportunity to come back to find him in such good condition. It made me smile and warmed my heart. It made me proud to work for Carilion. To all of our resource nurses and PCTs and travelers, -You all Rock... I am honored to work with each one of you. And I want to thank you all for doing such a great job taking care of our patients. I am proud to work with you all. Also, a shout out to the secretaries that hold us together, you ladies play a huge role in how smooth this unit runs. Thank you too, without you we would fall apart. 7W Rocks!!!!
