About the Award

The Nancy Howell Agee Award for Distinguished Service (formerly called the President's Award) recognizes individuals who have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment, level of service and contribution toward our mission of improving the health of the communities we serve.

The award is presented in recognition of specific accomplishments that are truly extraordinary, widely recognized as such and of positive and lasting quality.

Nominations are generally taken in the spring each year, with winners announced in October or November.
