Guidelines for submitting a report of a research study:

(*The submission should be 750 words)

1. Background

• Why research is needed
• Current stated of knowledge by summarizing and synthesizing available research

2. Research hypothesis, questions, outcome(s), and/or objective(s)

3. Methods

• Study design
• Population and Sample, recruitment strategies, inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Description of intervention, activities or procedures.
• Description of measures for variables, data collection methods, and secure data collection and storage

4. Protection of Human Subjects

• IRB decision (use language from IRB letter)
• Consent process (if applicable)
• HIPAA Authorization or waiver (if applicable)

5. Statistical Analysis

6. Findings

7. Discussion and Conclusions

• Include potential benefits to science and/or society

8. Reference List
