You're Invited to Research Day!

Registration is now open for our 17th annual Research Day!

Please register by March 31 to attend and learn more about our various research projects and numerous goals for improving patient care.

This year's Research Day will be held Tuesday, April 9 at CRMH's 6th floor Auditorium.

Residents, fellows, faculty, staff and medical students with be there to share insights about how the projects were developed.

The event is a collaboration between:

• Carilion Clinic Research and Development
• Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
• Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC
• Radford University Carilion

For Researchers Submitting Abstracts

It's time to submit your abstract for this year's Research Day. Submissions invited for consideration include:

• Case studies
• Basic science
• Translational research
• Clinical research

Selected works will have the opportunity to be featured in the poster session (comprising 68 posters) or as part of an oral presentation. All submissions will be published in a meeting proceedings publication.

The abstract submission due date is Friday, March 8 at 5 p.m.

Abstract acceptance, either for the poster session or for a rapid communication presentation, will be communicated to the first author on or before March 11.

Research Day Agenda

The hybrid event features virtual presentations in the morning and an in-person poster session in the afternoon.

• Research Day commences at 7 a.m.
• Rapid communication session until noon
• In-person poster session from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
