We’re Growing! Carilion Children’s Expands in Rocky Mount

We are enhancing the level of care we offer our youngest patients in Rocky Mount and its surrounding communities.

Starting Monday, July 28 Carilion Children’s Pediatric Medicine – Rocky Mount will see patients at our new location in the CFMH Medical Office Building, 3rd Floor, Suite 314. A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new space—which was intentionally designed to meet pediatric patient needs—was held Thursday, July 24.

Funded entirely by donations to Children's Miracle Network and the Carilion Clinic Foundation, the 3,632 square-foot space has specialized features, including 8 exam rooms (2 for specialty clinics), plus a procedure room, separate healthy and sick patient waiting areas, color and art throughout the practice and kid-friendly office spaces meant for more personal interactions.

In addition to offering general pediatric care, pediatric specialties—including cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology and pulmonology—will rotate through the practice on an alternating basis.

The practice is equipped to handle a range of services from wellness visits to mild trauma, and is open during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
