Welcome Our New Vice President of Supply Chain

Luis Richard has been hired as vice president of Supply Chain, following Tom Hill’s recent retirement.

Luis will join us from Nuvance Health System in LaGrangeville, NY, where he served as the chief supply chain officer since 2019, overseeing supply chain management for seven hospitals, multiple surgery centers, urgent care clinics and physicians’ offices. He’s also worked in supply chain operations at Health Quest Systems and Northwestern Medicine in a career spanning more than 20 years.

He earned his B.A. and M.B.A. from Benedictine University in Illinois

At Carilion, Luis will lead teams in supply chain, warehouse, logistics, contracting, strategic sourcing, capital and purchased services, value analysis, MMIS and laundry and linen.

“Luis’s experience is a perfect fit to lead our Supply Chain teams, and I look forward to watching the department thrive,” said Jeanne Armentrout, executive vice president and chief administrative officer.
