We Surpassed Our $100 Million Goal—Thanks to You, We’re Reaching Even Further
Four months after the public launch of the Reaching Far, Caring Close campaign, we’ve raised more than $105 million to fund the new Carilion Taubman Cancer Center.
Building on that success, Nick and Jenny Taubman have made an additional $17.5 million gift to help bring proton therapy—one of the most advanced cancer treatments available—to Roanoke. Their generosity launches the next fundraising phase, with a $50 million goal. Including a recent $2.5 million anonymous gift, $20 million has already been raised toward that vision.
The campaign—Carilion’s first major public campaign—was made possible by donors across the community, including more than $7.7 million from our employees. Your generosity and support helped make this achievement possible!
