U.S. News & World Report Ranked CRMH "Best Hospital" in the Region, Tied Third in the State

U.S. News & World Report released its latest hospital rankings. Thanks to your work and dedication, our teams received several exciting honors:

• CRMH tied for third in Virginia, up from fourth last year. CRMH was also named among the elite 11% of hospitals nationwide.   
• CNRV earned high-performing status in treating COPD, kidney failure and heart failure. 

CRMH was rated as high performing in 16 categories and one specialty. The high-performing designation signifies that a specialty or procedure is in the top 10-20% nationally. In Virginia, only Inova Fairfax has more high-performing designations. CRMH was recognized for: 

• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair  
• Colon Cancer Surgery 
• Lung Cancer Surgery 
• COPD 
• Heart Bypass Surgery 
• Hip Replacement 
• Knee Replacement 
• Leukemia, lymphoma & myeloma 
• TAVR 
• Heart Attack 
• Acute Kidney Failure 
• Pneumonia 
• Stroke 
• Prostate Cancer Surgery 
• Gynecological Cancer Surgery 
• Urology specialty
• Maternity and prenatal care (announced separately in Dec. 2023)  

Being recognized as high performing notes excellent clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience.
