Tools to Complete Your Competencies and Continuing Education by Sept. 30
The deadline to record FY24 competencies or Continuing Education (CE) credits in Cornerstone is Monday, Sept. 30.
It's easy to forget about this important deadline as you focus on finishing your self-review by Friday, Oct. 4, but recording your competencies and CE credits by the deadline is necessary for a few reasons.
- On Tuesday, Oct. 1, the slate in Cornerstone for FY24 competencies and CE credits is wiped clean and CE for FY25 begins. You won't be able to validate any FY24 competencies after Sept. 30.
- Because our organization values personal growth and ongoing learning—why Curiosity is one of our values—you are required to meet a specific amount of Continuing Education credits for the fiscal year based on your role. Your leader will take your completed CE credits into consideration when preparing your review.
- If you're a nurse, completing your competencies by the Sept. 30 deadline isn't just essential for your review, but is also a requirement for Magnet recertification.
